Hello,

Im looking for those who have recently been involved in the education system. Either Teacher, student, or if you have an opinion on how geography education needs to change feel free to comment. My question for you all is: With the constant advance of Web 2.0, and other technological developments such as blockchain technology, decentralized applications, space exploration and Volunteered Geographic Information - Does the current geographic education include the advancements in this field, and what methods can be used to progress curriculum's forward effectively?

Any help will be apprecited.

Hello,

The nature vs nurture essay... I have completed my introduction and my first paragraph which discusses the Nature debate and Bowlby's views and Lorenz study he did.. Im now moving onto discuss the nurture debate... I am right in thinking the psychologist behind this theory is Ainsworth? Or have i completely missed the boat??? Ive read so many different theories and case studies that I am all in a pickle and am now not 100% sure that that is right? Can anybody point me in the right direction if im way off or atleast tell me in on the right path?

Any help will be apprecited.

Hello,

As part of my thesis in Linguistics, I am running a psycholinguistic experiment. Before I start the experiment, I need to collect the judgement of native speakers of English regarding the stimuli I am going to use. I have set up online questionnaires with sentences that need to be rated as more or less natural. What I am interested in is to find out if these sentences sound "native". The questionnaires take around 15 minutes to fill in. I would be most grateful if you could have a look at them and/or circulate them around. There are two good reasons to take part: you would help a lot in my research, and you might find it fun or interesting.

Linguistics is the scientific study of language, and involves an analysis of language form, language meaning, and language in context. Plenary is an adjective related to the noun plenum carrying a general connotation of fullness. Plenary may also refer to: Plenary session or meeting, the part of a conference when all members of all parties are in attendance. Plenary speaker, a speaker at a plenary session, as opposed to a sectional speaker. Plenaries are used by teachers either during or at the end of a lesson, to review aims and consolidate the students' learning. It is an evaluative part of a lesson, where students reflect on what they have learnt and achieved during that teaching period.

Learning a foreign language offers an insight into how people from other cultures think and see the world.The teaching of a foreign language should be compulsory at all primary schools.To what extent do you agree or disagree with this view?In the past century, the phenomenon of globalisation has become more important than ever in human history, and it is agreed that speaking another language is essential for working and studying. Given this supposed necessity and the cultural insight that a foreign language offers, should its teaching be compulsory for pupils?
